Kenneth M. Haffey, CPA, CVA
Kenneth M. Haffey is a partner with Skoda Minotti. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of public accounting, including eight years with an international accounting firm where he was in both the Audit and Consulting practice areas. During that time Ken managed a number of consulting projects and SEC audit engagements. He also has 10 years of experience in key financial management and corporate planning positions with financial institutions in Chicago and Cleveland including seven years when Ken held the position of CFO of a publicly-held bank managing the SEC reporting, internal audit and investment areas. Ken is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Valuation Analyst.
Ken works with clients in all aspects of accounting, auditing, tax, strategic business planning and merger & acquisition analysis. He specializes in valuing businesses in terms of acquisitions, sales, divestitures and other related transactions. Ken has extensive external and internal audit and management advisory service experience as well.
For the past 18 years, he has been an adjunct professor in the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, and he also taught for three years at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Ken is the Treasurer of the Notre Dame National Monogram Club, a member of the Advisory Board for the Departments of Accountancy of Case Western Reserve University, the University of Notre Dame and Kent State University. He was named Notre Dame Club of Cleveland’s 2003 Alumni of the year and is on the Board of Catholic Charities of Cleveland. He serves as a special advisor to the Board of Governors for the Employers Resource Council.
He holds a bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame (1978), and a Cum Laude Master of Business Administration from DePaul University (1982) in Chicago, Illinois with a concentration in Finance and Accounting
