SAS 70 Auditing Services

What happened to the SAS 70?
In June 2011, the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) put into effect a new standard for reporting on service organizations. What had been known as SAS 70 Auditing is now known as SOC Reporting. These SOC Reports (SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC 3) have effectively replaced the SAS 70, and are available for service organizations and their clients.
