Insurance and Risk Assessment Specialist
Deborah Marino is the insurance specialist with Skoda Minotti Financial Services where she focuses on life and disability income insurance. Deb offers over 18 years of insurance experience in many different facets of insurance, including new business underwriting, medical risk assessment and policy service. She also has published insurance newsletters and offers marketing, troubleshooting and managerial skills.
Before joining Skoda Minotti, Deb was an internal marketer for Berson-Sokol Agency Inc. where she was known for strong brokerage relationships with independent agents across Ohio and Pennsylvania. For over five years, she was responsible for helping agents grow their insurance business through quality products and superior training. Prior to the Berson-Sokol Agency, Deb worked for 12 years as a brokerage consultant, working her way up to brokerage manager with Guardian Life Insurance of America, where she earned numerous sales and growth awards.
Deb volunteers for Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center, where she has been active in working with challenged children who find horseback riding empowering. Prior to Fieldstone, she was on the working board for the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as many other boards and programs. Deb graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, a minor in chemistry and an associate’s degree in liberal arts.
